ESA's Central North Carolina District includes the area from the Eastern tip of Atlantic Beach on Bogue Banks to Surf City. (see map)

Our goal is to promote the sport of surfing through a series of competitions and activities designed to encourage a healthy, fair system that teaches good sportsmanship and creates an opportunity for young people to develop confidence and self-esteem. Our district is a friendly, family oriented group with several multi-generation families participating.

The ESA is a volunteer organization that allows individuals to work together as a team and put something positive back into the local surfing community. CNC is one of twenty-six districts, which extend along nearly 2,000 miles of coastline stretching from Maine through the Gulf Coast of Florida, Alabama, and the Great Lakes across the Atlantic to the Caribbean. Our district's programs are developed and operated by a dedicated group of volunteer directors and staff.
